Centranthus Ruber – Albus also commonly known as the Red Valerian, is a popular perennial that is upright, and is grown for its sprays of rounded, airy, clusters of beautiful white flowers. The flowers rise atop a busy foliage of lance-shaped leaves that are a blue-green color, and the flowers that are sweetly perfumed, enjoy one of the longest blooming seasons that last from early Summer to Fall. It is recommended to remove the spent flower stems to help encourage further blooms. It is clump forming, and woody based. There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
