Cosmos Bipinnatus -Rubenza. This is an upright showy half hardy annual with deciduous foliage, blooming from summer to fall with rich deep cranberry- antique rose and a hint of
amber, with golden centers. It is a 1st year bloomer that reaches maturity in 8-12 weeks from plant to bloom. It is easy to care for and maintain, even though it yields mountains of blooms and loads of pollen. It is a self sower but will not become invasive. Deadhead or cut for additional blooms, and if you want bushier plants, pinch one time when it's 1 inch tall. If you want fresh vase flowers, cut when the flower is 3⁄4 open. Water regularly until established, then only when the climate is hot and dry. Depending on how tall the plant is, it may be necessary to stake them in windy areas. Does very well in containers. Attracts Hummingbirds, Butterflies and Bees, lady bugs, and other beneficial pollinators.

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine, Florida. All seed are NOT alike! There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
SEED GERMINATION TIP!!!!!!!
ONLY GERMINATE A SMALL PORTION AT A TIME.
DON'T PUT ALL YOUR MONKEYS IN A BARREL.
