Crocosmia is Native to Southern and Eastern Africa in origin. The plant is related to gladiolas and are magnets for hummingbirds. The colors will vary as this is a mix of over 7 varieties of Crocosmia. Nature's design of this flower is amazing in how it opens from the bottom and gets brighter in color every day. It blooms mainly in Summer. Save the bulbs and it will come back and thicken in it's garden spot each year. They love the Sun and can get to 4 feet. Once established they are a focal point.
