Digitalis Ambigua - Large Yellow Foxglove, A native of Europe that tends to be paired with other tall and beautiful flowers such as Jacob's Ladder. This perennial lasts for about 5 years, has deep green lance shaped leaves and produces little 1-2” flowers every May through June that resemble glove tips. Jeff Cox from Perennial All-Stars put it best when he said, "This easy grower asks little of the gardener in exchange for its spikes of creamy, drooping, bell-shaped flowers.". I would use this in the garden for its ornamental flower that can pop through denser foliage and be easily seen. This plant is best transplanted when it is young as mature plants do not survive the scene change as easily.
