Echinacea Purpurea - Ruby Star is a variety from Jelitto in Europe. This variety differs slightly from Echinacea Purpurea in that thisplant has a bit denser bloom factor. The brilliant pink flower petals surround burnt-orange center cones. This variety is recognized as a solid grower and easy to care for as well. Attracts Butterflies and Bees to it when in bloom. The flower petals open stiff and straight out, than begin to droop as they age. In Winter the finches and other birds will eat the seed in the left bloom heads. Blooming Summer and Fall they will extend your color in the Garden and they like Full Sun and can take it. Great for cut flowers as well. Deer and Rabbit Resistant.

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine,Florida. All seed are NOT alike! There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
SEED GERMINATION TIP!!!!!!!
