Eryngium Planum is the smallest of the eryngium plants. It is also not silver, it is steel blue and quite fetching to see. The plant grows 2 to 3 feet and loves poor dry soils the best. It also wants as much sun as it can get. The more sun, the more blooms and growth. An unusual plant to say the least and very easy to grow and remember, with this plant, less is better.
