Zinnia - Purple Prince - this tender annual Purple Prince should be called “Purple King”! A native to Mexico, it is a very tall growing Dahlia that has been highly popular since 1949. Blooming from July to first frost, this plant produces double flowers of rich magenta, wine-purple and a lime green center that makes a stunning contrast in color. The flowers have a massive amount of petals that make it thick and uniformly round making it resemble a pompom. It is easy to grow, easy to care for, and is nectar and pollen rich that bees and butterflies can’t resist. The purple prince is an absolutely gorgeous flower and is an excellent choice to bring beauty to anywhere it is placed.

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine, Florida. All seed are NOT alike!  There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
